Car paint correction is the process of removing paint defects such as swirls, scratches, etching, sanding marks and holograms via machine polishing.
Car paint correction services we offer:
At Black River Details we offer various levels of paint correction, depending on the level of finish desired. We carry out all paint correction using the Rupes Bigfoot DA System. Black River Details are certified and trained to use this equipment. We use a combination of three machines for the paint correction process. These include the Rupes LHR 21ES Mark II, Rupes LHR 75E and the Rupes Nano IBrid.
There are three options to choose from for paint correction; these are:
Paint Refinement Detail:
This is a single stage paint correction process where a medium strength finishing polished is used. This is effective in removing light surface defects and blemishes. This will add to the gloss and depth of the paintwork and give a slick finish.
Minor paint correction:
This is a 2 stage paint correction process; the paint will receive a cutting stage and a finishing stage to achieve >80% correction. This will remove the majority of paint defects, restoring the clarity and depth to the paintwork. Results will last for years to come as this service includes ceramic coating with Kamikaze Miyabi Coat.
Major paint correction:
This is a multi-stage paint correction process; here we’re looking to remove >95% of the paint defects and bring the car back to or as close as we can get to a better than new finish. This is our top level service that will take your car to another level entirely, with a finish that will be protected since we include ceramic coating in the price using Kamikaze Collection Miyabi Coat which can be upgraded to Kamikaze Collection ISM Hydrocarbon at additional cost.
